Below is a quick video tutorial from PBS NOVA demonstrating how to crudely extract your own DNA. Not sure exactly what you would do with the concoction of colored DNA slime but it makes for a fun tutorial on extracting DNA from cells… I suspect you would also want to ensure you don’t have any left over lunch food particles stuck in your teeth prior to doing this experiment.
