“O” No! Overstock.com CEO Arrested by TSA

Apparently Patrick Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com was detained while attempting to go through security at Salt Lake City International Airport. TSA scanners picked up a Glock 23 .40 cal in his carry on luggage. Strangely, Byrne reportedly stated he didn’t know how it got in the bag. Rule #1, If you’re going to be traveling, make sure you don’t use a multi-use gun bag for carry on! Surprisingly, it was reported that he was arrested (cuffed?) which to me is a bit extreme. Shouldn’t they allow him to check his bag? One is allowed to travel with their guns so long as they’re in an approved hard case, unloaded, and checked in.
